These terms apply to your use of aheadCV. By using the site you accept them.
The service
aheadCV lets you write resumes and cover letters, choose a design and download them. Some designs and features are free; others require a paid pass.
Your account
Most of the site works without an account. An account is personal and may not be shared or transferred. Keep access to your email secure, since signing in goes through it.
Your content
You own what you write. You allow us to store and process it only to provide the service. You are responsible for your content being accurate and for having the right to use it.
Passes and payment
A pass unlocks paid features for its period. It is a single payment and never renews automatically. The price is shown before you pay, and a later price change does not affect a pass you already bought. Payments are processed by our payment provider, whose terms also apply.
Refunds
If a pass is not for you, you can get a full refund within 14 days of purchase by writing to [email protected]. This does not limit your rights under consumer law.
Fair use
Some features have usage limits, so the service stays fast and affordable for everyone. Do not use aheadCV to break the law, to share other people's personal information without permission, or to impersonate anyone. Do not disrupt the service, get around its limits or payments, or access it automatically other than through the tools we publish for that purpose.
AI suggestions
AI features suggest wording. You decide what goes into your documents and are responsible for their accuracy.
Our property
The templates, software and aheadCV name belong to us. The files you create with them are yours to use for any personal or professional purpose.
Availability
We work to keep the service available and your documents safe, but it is provided as is, without a guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Keep your own copy of important documents.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending
You may stop using aheadCV and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. If we close an account for another reason, we refund the unused part of its pass.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will change the date above, and tell you before a significant change applies. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the updated terms.
General
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. We may transfer these terms as part of a sale or reorganisation of our business.
