Information you give us: your email address when you create an account, and the content of your resumes and cover letters, including any photo.
Information from others: if you sign in with Google, your name and profile picture; if you import a profile, the information it makes public.
Purchase information: what you bought and when. Payment details are handled by our payment provider, and we do not see them.
Technical information: such as your IP address, browser and chosen language, used to deliver and protect the site.
How we use it
To provide the service (saving, syncing, creating files and imports), to process purchases and refunds, to reply to you, to keep the service secure and prevent abuse, and to meet our legal obligations. Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on performing our agreement with you, our legitimate interest in running a secure service, your consent where we ask for it, and legal obligations.
Using aheadCV without an account
You can use aheadCV without an account. Your documents are then stored in your browser, on your device, and reach our systems only while we handle a request, such as creating a file.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers that help us run aheadCV, such as hosting, data storage, payments, email delivery, AI features and data import, and only as their task requires. We do not sell or rent personal information. We disclose information to authorities only when the law requires it.
International transfers
Our providers may process information outside your country, including in the United States. Where the law requires it, we use appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses.
Cookies
We use only the cookies and browser storage the site needs to work, such as remembering your language and keeping you signed in. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

We keep account information while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your profile and documents, except what the law requires us to keep, such as purchase records.
